FAQ

Quick answers for the Dropper Tool, the gacha economy, round events, and the Born Ready modifier.

Paint and Seek is a Roblox asymmetric hide-and-seek party game by Ikitai Studios. Hiders use the Dropper Tool to paint their avatar against environmental textures and freeze to avoid detection; one Seeker hunts them with a one-shot gun inside a 3-minute round timer. Place ID 106061778438309.

The standard round lasts 3 minutes, with a 10–15 second pre-paint window for hiders before the Seeker is released. The Seeker must complete a rhythm-based spacebar minigame to break out of the confinement chain (except during the Born Ready event).

Use the Dropper Tool to sample the RGB hex code of an environmental surface, then freeze your avatar in a compressed position. The strongest hides combine UV-matching (Library) with geometry-exploitation (Bathroom tubs, Kitchen cabinets, drawer micro-compartments).

The bathtub in any of the Mansion's bathrooms is the single most overpowered hide. The Grand Library bookshelves and the Bedroom sofa backrests are the next best options. Avoid the Kitchen counter — flat surfaces betray you with shadows.

The Seeker is randomly selected from the lobby at the start of every round. There is no opt-in. The role rotates round by round.
